The Best lap Dogs


Lap it up!!! While most dogs are snuggly, there are certain dog breeds that love to cuddle just a little more than others and therefore make it to our list of the best lap dogs.

1. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel:  Breaking myths comes just as easy to this dog breed, as is breaking a record in a dog agility sport! Yes, this sporty dog breed has made to our list because if it is not hiking on trails, chasing after birds or discovering unknown territories, what it likes best is to cuddle up in its human’s lap, and get a belly rub!


2. Havanese: From being a spirited circus performer to assisting the handicapped, the Havanese wears many hats. But, perhaps its most endearing quality is curling up into a ball in its owner’s lap and smothering him/her with its licks and kisses!


3. Toy Poodle: It may be an active little dog capable of executing jaw-dropping tricks but he is as much a lap warmer!! The Toy Poodle has an excellent sense of humour that can make anybody’s day and with its tendency to snuggle in its owner’s lap, it is a wonderful family pet.


4. Papillon:  Though he may be an aggressive competitor in dog sports such as agility and obedience, it is really a softie at heart! It would hop on to his master’s lap and cuddle for what seems like eternity!!


5. Bichon Frise:  That majestic white coat has onlookers hypnotized! When it is not playing the serial mischief-maker, the Bichon Frise breed is happily cuddled in its human lap!!
